I was born in Bauska, a small city near the capital of Latvia. For as long as I can remember, I have been inspired by anything artistic. As a child, I loved replicating paintings and working on art projects.
I went on to study International Business and Economics, though my passion for art never faded. In 2001 I was inspired to move to the United States, and continue my studies in the art of beauty and hair.
For years I have been combining my passion for art with my passion for doing hair. I work hard to excel at both.
Though I have been painting my whole life, I never shared my art with anyone until 2009, when I gave away a few paintings as gifts. My first public showing was in the gallery at the Pfister Hotel in 2014.
My abstract paintings are inspired by my life, my feelings, and my experiences as a woman. It is important to me that my art brings joy to people.
I live in Milwaukee with my daughter, Yana. She is my inspiration. I love my city and the community of people around me. I am committed to following my passions of art, beauty, education, and helping others.
