Musette Morgan is a fine artist based in Milwaukee, WI painting mostly in oil. She paints a variety of subjects–people, still life, and landscapes, and is drawn to the design and rhythmic quality in nature. Finding the fluidity of line or the arrangement of values that hit upon the viewer’s eye–Musette seeks to capture the essence and feeling of everyday subjects.
Musette grew up in Memphis, TN with an early passion for creating art. She received a BA in painting and drawing from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 2007. Her studies in oil painting continued further with artist Samuel Adoquei at the National Academy of Art in NYC for five years. Her work has been in numerous shows (in NYC, GA, NC, FL, TN, and Milwaukee) and appeared in publications such as The Ritz Carlton Magazine and Flower Magazine.
Musette is currently working on commissions in her studio and enjoys the challenge of painting from life en plein air.
